Annuals

Annuals complete their life cycle in one year. They flower to produce seeds, so removing spent flowers during its growing season (dead-heading) results in the plant producing more flowers.

Annuals can be classified by their ability to thrive in either sun or shade and whether they flower in hot or cool weather. There are even edible annuals that can beautifully adorn your summer meals! Agway stores carry an extensive selection of annuals to fill your gardens, baskets, containers and pots.
